  • About Me

  • My name is Tim. If there is one thing I've learned, it's that I dislike writing about myself. Because of that, you can find me behind the camera, hiking through the woods, reading, meditating and feeding my curiosity by studying a whole host of other subjects. Thanks for stopping by.

Wildcat Range and Carter Dome in the Winter

Posted On February 3, 2018

The Wildcat Range consists of 5 summits and connects Pinkham Notch to the Carter Range.  We had reservations at Carter Notch Hut so it only made sense to take the long way, starting at the ever so steep Wildcat D.  The trip plan was to hike over the Wildcats, stay the night at Carter Notch, wake up the next morning and hike over Carter Dome with a side trip to Mt. Hight.  The weather was cold but otherwise a great weekend to be in the Whites.

This is Rob. We met him at the hut the night before.  He is a super cool dude who was totally psyched on hiking the long way over a few summits and back to the car. Say hi to Rob.
