  • About Me

  • My name is Tim. If there is one thing I've learned, it's that I dislike writing about myself. Because of that, you can find me behind the camera, hiking through the woods, reading, meditating and feeding my curiosity by studying a whole host of other subjects. Thanks for stopping by.

Mt. Whiteface and Passaconaway Loop

Posted On October 1, 2017

I got up early Saturday morning with the goal of hiking the Mt. Whiteface and Passaconaway Loop.  These two peaks lay in the Sandwich Range right next to the Tripyramirds I hiked a few weeks back.   A lot people will hike all four peaks in one day but I’m not at a point where I can bust out 16+ mile days.  I drove to the Ferncroft Rd. parking lot which is located on private property and has really nice views of both summits.  It was picturesque New England.  The best part of the hike was last 3/4 of a mile up the Blueberry Ridge Trail.  The trail was very much exposed and there were multiple areas to sit and view the surrounding mountain range.  There was still a lot of low cloud cover across the valley and it looked like a vast ocean with little islands dotted around.  I could have sat there for hours but I still had another 7 miles to go.
