  • About Me

  • My name is Tim. If there is one thing I've learned, it's that I dislike writing about myself. Because of that, you can find me behind the camera, hiking through the woods, reading, meditating and feeding my curiosity by studying a whole host of other subjects. Thanks for stopping by.

Mt Moosilauke – The Western Most 4,000 ft Summit

Posted On September 3, 2017

Mt Moosilauke – The western most 4,000 ft summit is located in the White Mountains just west of Franconia Notch.  Because it was the farthest peak west I had not yet made the 2.5 hour drive towards Lincoln, NH.  From all the reading I’ve done and people I’ve talked to Moosilauke was supposed to be a great mountain to hike with exceptional views.   It was.  The 7.5 mile hike was gradual and easy going.  The trails are maintained be the Dartmouth Outing Club and they do a really good job at keeping them clean.  Summit pizza was on the menu when we reached the top, for some reason it tastes better the next day when its cold with 360 degree views at 4,803 ft.
