  • About Me

My name is Tim. If there is one thing I've learned its that I dislike writing about myself. Because of that, you can find me behind the camera, hiking through the woods, reading, meditating and feeding my curiosity by studying a whole host of other subjects. Thanks for stopping by.

Mount Chocorua (3,490 ft)

Posted On October 12, 2020

Mount Chocorua is all about the experience above treeline. The prominence of the summit is quite unique and there aren’t many in the White Mountains that compare. It sure feels like a 4,000 footer.

I parked the the Piper Trail head and did the Piper Hammond Loop. This was a 8.5 mile loop that would take me around the west side and over the summit.
